Scope of the Contract Awarded:
To develop ethno-maps of indigenous communities of the Toledo District that capture their cosmovision and relationship with their territory. To achieve this, specific objectives of this consultancy are to:

• Ethno-map identified communities;
• Train a local GIS specialist to compile and process data to produce the ethno-maps;
• Socialize the ethno-maps that are produced by the Consulting Team’s GIS specialists; and,
• Produce community ethno-maps.

The Consultancy is to be carried out in the Toledo District, among Mopan and Q’eqchi’ communities. The scale of the ethno-maps produced will be 1:50,000.
