Request for Expression of Interest for Consultancy Service to undertake a Gap Analysis and Updating of Environmental and Social Safeguards (ESS) and Gender Policies, Procedures and Tools; Development and Implementation of an ESS and Gender Capacity Development Plan for the Protected Areas Conservation Trust.

PACT is interested in identifying a Consulting Firm/Team to undertake the updates to the Trust’s Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) and a Policy on Gender and Equality (PGE) and associated Monitoring toolkit as well as the creation of a Policy for sexual exploitation, sexual abuse and sexual harassment (SEAH). The objective of this consultancy is to strengthen PACT’s institutional and operational frameworks for the implementation of climate change projects by national stakeholders.

Qualifications/Requirements:
The Consulting Firm/Team is expected to include at maximum five (5) members with expertise in the following or related areas:
1. Environmental Sciences/Natural Resources Management
2. Social Sciences, Social Policy or related discipline (Traditional Ecological Knowledge)
3. Gender and Women Studies
4. Institutional and/or Governance Analysis
5. Policy Analysis and Development

Professional and Skills Requirements:
• Minimum of a Graduate Degree in area of expertise
• Relevant work experience of at least five (5) years in area of expertise;
• Experience in creating institutional policies for environmental management, social/gender and SEAH and assessing institutional capacity needs.
