Dr. Vincent Palacio

Dr. Vincent Palacio became the Interim President of the University of Belize in August of 2021. He has been Assistant Professor and is currently the Dean in the Faculty of Management and Social Science since 2005. Dr. Palacio holds a doctoral degree from Indiana State University. Prior to his appointment as Interim President, Dr. Palacio also contributed to several publications including the Handbook on the Economics of Ecosystem Services and Biodiversity, Belize Tourism Board’s National Tour Guide Trainers Manual (2007) and the Belize Code of Practice for Water Sports Activities (2019).
