CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – Procurement Officer
PACT, Belize’s National Implementing Entity of the Adaptation Fund, is implementing the project “Enhancing the Resilience of Belize’s Coastal Communities to Climate Change Impacts.” To support effective project delivery and uphold transparency and accountability, PACT is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage the procurement of goods, services, and works in compliance with national, institutional, and donor requirements.
This role supports PACT’s Operations Department and works closely with internal teams and project partners to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective procurement processes.
📌 Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and execute operational and project procurement activities
Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, bids, and Expressions of Interest
Ensure compliance with PACT policies, national regulations, and donor requirements
Coordinate bid openings, evaluations, and contract awards
Manage vendor relations, contracts, and supplier performance
Maintain procurement records, logs, and reports for audits and reporting
Support budget alignment, cost control, and sustainable procurement practices
🔎 What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant professional experience in procurement or project management
At least three (3) years’ hands-on experience implementing procurement activities
Procurement certification is an asset
Strong organizational, negotiation, and analytical skills
