Capacity Building Grants
Through Capacity Building Grants, PACT seeks to build capacity of stakeholder organizations and individuals. The goal is to better equip stakeholders to carry out more effective management, advocacy, promotion and protection of Belize's natural and cultural resources. At present, PACT provides four (4) different capacity building grant types.


Research Grants

Research Grants are awarded to support the establishment of a scientific information base for effective biodiversity management and implementation of the National Protected Areas Policy and System Plan, PACT provides Research Grants to undertake pure, applied or policy-driven research.
 

Capacity Development Grants

These grant types were established to enable administrative and technical staff, and decision-makers of eligible organizations to attend short-courses, conferences, workshops, seminars, or symposiums that are designed to strengthen their capacities to more effectively and efficiently manage Belize’s natural resources and protected areas.

Environmental Fellowship Grants

PACT’s Environmental Fellowship Grants are designed to provide financial assistance to dynamic and successful mid-career and/or senior professional Belizeans accepted to attend recognized institutions locally, regionally or internationally or distance learning programs to earn a Master’s degree.
