Other Project Types

Planning Grants:
Planning successful project proposals requires substantial preliminary work. Project planning grants will be made available for

stakeholder consultations and problem analysis in project planning, conceptualization, design and formulation of a proposal for submission to PACT. For small grants, a planning grant must not exceed $1500 and for large grants the planning grant must not exceed $5000. A minimum of 50% counterpart contribution is required. A request must be submitted using the standard application form. Awarding of the grant does not guarantee approval of the proposal. The relevant PO screens the planning grant application and submits to the TPC for final review and recommendation. The TPC submits and discusses the screening report and recommendation with the GPD. Based on the recommendation of the GPD, the Executive Director approves a planning grant under the authority vested by the Board of Directors. The screening and approval process will not exceed two weeks.
